Our team.

Sanneke is one of the two founders of Lynxx. She is inspired by growth in a natural way and loves to create new shoots to a branch. At Lynxx we do this by investing in people’s growth and sincere connections with our customers. These core values are the drivers behind continuous innovation and high performance.

Paul is one of the two founders of Lynxx. He is inspired by traveling and loves being submerged in different cultures. By doing this he experiences how things in life can be perceived in a different way. He sees as the solution for a problem is not always obvious for someone else. Looking at things from different angles helps me to keep a fresh and pragmatic view, with a Dutch creative twist.

Frank joined Lynxx right from the start. As a partner, he didn’t only strive for beautiful solutions, but also focused on high service and good long term support. We all know problems or issues can surface, but it is an art to fix them in a blink of an eye.

In 2014 Peter started working at Lynxx. Both the energy and the vibe within the team were decisive factors to join Lynxx. Even though the team is rather diverse, they share a common factor which connects them and leads to new ideas and innovative projects. He believes in personal growth and enjoys traveling to learn from various cultures. At Lynxx, Peter has the opportunity to combine both, to work with people abroad and to improve his skills and knowledge.

Brian enjoys investigating complex matters and transforming this into clear, actionable insights and proposals. Together with his colleagues and clients he achieves results through his enthusiasm, sensitivity and fresh approach. Through the years he has developed a special interest in first and last mile optimization. Outside of work he loves to swim, visit concerts, and play complex board games with thick rule books.

This is Koen! An energetic teamplayer who loves a complex puzzle. Freshly married and lives in Utrecht. Koen started as a young physicist at Lynxx a long time ago and has never left. He has experience in data science,dData analytics and tender work around the globe – in particular if it concerns public transport. Koen is expert in getting-to-know-a-new-issue-quick and solving the challenges which arise during the project. Outside work, he is an enthusiastic (but not very talented) field hockey player and loves to ride a bike as well. During a drink, you will always get an enthoustic response discussing craft beers.

Maaike has worked for Lynxx since 2012. She is inspired by people. In her travels she has met many people with different beliefs and views of the world. They have taught her to see things from different perspectives – which helps Maaike in her work to better understand the user and their needs.

Max started working at Lynxx at the beginning of 2019. His passion is to use data analysis to reduce complex problems to something that is comprehensible for everyone. This in combination with a team of energetic and creative people, makes Lynxx the place to be for him. In his spare time you can find Max at the beach riding waves and flying kites. Another hobby of his is trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Willeke joined Lynxx in April 2023. Like many of her colleges, Willeke completed a bachelor in Econometrics and a master in Operations Research. She gets a lot of energy from working as a team with collueges and clients. She likes to apply her knowledge about data into real life applications with social value. In her spare time, Willeke can often be found visiting friends and family, who are spread out across the Netherlands. Moreover, she likes to explore the world hiking, camping or backpacking.

Schelto joined the Lynxx team at the beginning of 2022. Before moving toward the field of data science, he was a PhD candidate in theoretical physics in Amsterdam. With his analytical and research background, he enjoys tackling complex societal problems to add genuine value. At Lynxx, Schelto has found a place where he can work on these issues together with a great team of young and ambitious people.

Stan has been part of the team since May 2022. His technical expertise and his pragmatic view allow him to connect the dots between science and business. Stan gets his energy from teamwork and experiencing growth. When he is not behind his laptop working on another masterpiece, you can find him on the football pitch, at a concert, or at the karaoke bar!

Maaike joined Lynxx after an early career in data analytics and engineering, bringing together her unique background in animal sciences and operations research. She’s energized by the collaborative spirit at Lynxx, where passionate, driven people are always eager to help and learn from each other. Maaike thrives on tackling complex challenges with her team and finding innovative solutions to tough problems. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, diving into a good book, and testing her endurance through survival running.

Robin joined the Lynxx team in December 2022. Before that, he was working at Dassault Systemes as an Operations Research Scientist. Even before that – in the long long ago – he was studying Econometrics and Operations Research in Groningen. He joined Lynxx to help shape and deliver projects in the Operations Research field and to broaden his horizons by learning what life’s like as a Data Scientist. Also, Robin loves solving any kind of puzzles. Other things you can find Robin doing in his spare time are playing cards, playing football, watching football, talking about football, or watching people talk about football.

Tom joined Lynxx in December 2022 after finishing masters in both Econometrics and Industrial Engineering. He is pragmatic and loves working together with young and bright minds to solve complex data puzzles for our clients. Lynxx’s atmosphere with energetic and ambitious people makes Tom feel right at home. After work, Tom enjoys visiting concerts, making music,and playing football.

Wouter started working at Lynxx in March 2023, after finishing his master in econometrics. He really enjoys solving complex mathematical problems and gets a lot of energy from achieving great things together. Concepts in logistics interest him deeply, and he is enthusiastic to apply Data Science to this field. In his spare time, Wouter enjoys running and cycling, as well as a board game or making a pizza from scratch.

Merel began her journey with Lynxx in April 2023 by writing her master’s thesis in econometrics. After getting a taste of what it’s like to work at Lynxx, she was delighted to kickstart her career here. She enjoys diving into the details of operational processes and solving analytical puzzles. Besides work, she plays field hockey and loves exploring cozy cafés for coffee breaks. Her love for detail and creativity also extends to the kitchen, and she often shares her delicious homemade baked goods with colleagues.

Anne started at Lynxx in November 2023. Before this, he completed masters in both Operations Research and Transport Economics. He really enjoys tackling complex problems with advanced methods, especially those relating to transport and mobility. Luckily, Lynxx has plenty of those problems for him, while also enabling him to learn and get a deeper understanding of these methods. Besides work, he adores going for a run, playing a boardgame, or going hiking.

Mark has started working at Lynxx at the start of 2024 after completing his Bachelors in Artificial Intelligence and Masters in Data Science. When he is not working you can find him at festivals, exploring a different country, in the gym, or gaming behind his computer. In his work Mark gets energy from working with a fun team and cracking his brain on a complex task.

After completing a Bachelor’s in Psychology and in Artificial Intelligence, and a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence and in Data Science, Otto joined Lynxx in March 2024. Otto is ever excited to apply his knowledge and skills as a data scientist to solve the many puzzles posed to Lynxx. Furthermore he loves to ponder how AI solutions and innovations can be used to solve problems and improve processes. In his free time Otto can be found enjoying such things as indoor football, yoga, reading, and having drinks with friends.

Thomas started his journey at Lynxx in 2024 after finishing his master in Applied Mathematics. Optimization is in his DNA; he enjoys solving all kinds of mathematical problems, and he will not rest until he finds the best solution with the given resources. In doing so, he aspires to improve the lifes of as many people as possible. As a ballroom dancing fanatic, he spends most of his spare time practicing or teaching partner dancing. The remainder of his spare time goes to playing online/board games with friends.

Tijmen joined Lynxx in August 2024, after having previously worked as a cyber security specialist and data scientist in the military. With a background in AI and a passion for turning noisy and complex data into something practical, Lynxx is a great match. Outside of work Tijmen enjoys running, the gym, sometimes running to the gym and reading pretentious books. He also plays complicated strategic video games, which at times feel more like work than actual work, but it is worth it (is it?)

Tom joined Lynxx as a thesis intern for his master’s in Operations Research in September 2024, building on a strong background in Econometrics. He’s driven by a passion for using data and modeling to address real-world challenges, finding effective solutions that make a tangible impact. Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing and watching football, having card game nights with friends, and staying active at the gym to keep his energy up for every new challenge.

Wouter joined Lynxx in 2024. After finishing his bachelor in Aviation Engineering and his masters in Business Informatics. With his expertise in Data Engineering he enjoys creating (cloud) infrastructure, so that he can deliver high valuable products to customers together with his colleagues. Besides work, he loves playing field hockey and cycling. If you are up to the task, you can also challenge him to play on the padel court.

Jeannette joined the Lynxx team in November 2024 as our office manager. Besides taking care of several administrative tasks, she is also readily available to help anyone with any question. Her goal is to make everyone’s work easier and to create a pleasant working environment.
When not at work, she loves walking, dancing and having dinner or drinks with family and friends.

Douwe was proud to become part of Lynxx in October 2024, and to make the switch from maritime to road and rail logistics. With a background in econometrics and almost half a decade of experience as a data scientist, he is eager to contribute to a more efficient en sustainable future of the logistics sector. When he isn’t solving complex data puzzles at Lynxx, he is solving challenging physical puzzles in the bouldergym.

Roelien joined Lynxx in October 2024 after gaining experience in both the public and private sector. She made the switch to consultancy and specifically to Lynxx because of several reasons. She enjoys the dynamic and challenging environment, she is very passionate about mathematics and she likes the energy and enthusiasm within Lynxx very much. Outside work she likes to help organise local events or to tutor mathematics to high school students. Next to that (if there is some time left) you can find her on a (motor)cycle, having drinks with family or friends, playing music or reading a book.

Fabian joined Lynxx in September 2024 as a thesis intern for his master’s in Operations Research. Since a young age, he has been fascinated by urban transport networks and planning. Fabian is eager to use data and OR techniques to streamline and improve public transport for the people. In his spare time Fabian loves to do many things, such as travelling, hiking, playing hockey, kayaking, orienteering, cooking, reading and to have a drink with friends.

Michiel joined Lynxx in 2024 and is responsible for the North America region. He is a strong believer in the transformative potential of data & AI to increase productivity and enhance the quality of life for its end-users through its technological advances. With a background in digitalization and enabling applied AI research & commercialization, Michiel is excited to help clients solve complex problems and reach their full potential by adopting these technologies. Outside of work, he is an avid traveller and explorer, having lived in the Netherlands, Brazil, Asia, and Canada for many years, and loves to explore off the beaten track.
