Challenge
Conneqtech is a young company that deals with GPS solutions. In the field of e-bikes and mobility scooters, they supply the chips that can read information from the devices. Think of identification, location and ride information. Lynxx has created a product/dashboard for Conneqtech that is delivered to the customer through the Conneqtech application.
Our solution
For the dashboards, the data from the chips is collected on the AWS platform. Using Spark and Python scripts, the real-time data is transformed into usable data for the dashboard. The chips of the bicycles/scooters make a connection during an activity, such as when the vehicle is in motion or when it is on the charger. The real-time data from the e-bikes/scooters is converted into ride information. Various KPIs have been drawn up with this information, which are visualized in the dashboard.
Conneqtech’s customers can choose from 2 dashboards. A basic dashboard in which only a few KPIs are visible. In addition, it is also possible to purchase a premium dashboard. Lynxx supports the customers in the process of drawing up KPIs that are personalized for the company. These customized KPIs and their visualizations are not available in the basic dashboard.
In this way Lynxx provides insight into various KPIs, such as the growth of the user numbers, the behavior of these users, but also the quality of the batteries over time. The AWS QuickSight dashboard is embedded in the Conneqtech application and is therefore easily available to Conneqtech’s customers.
Results
Salable product for Conneqtech which they sell to their customers. At the moment there are four premium customers who will see a personalized dashboard. The other five customers only see the standard dashboard. In total, the data of more than 52,000 bicycles is displayed in the dashboard.
